Things have been pretty basic around here since mom brought home that snow from Mauna Kea! But she has been getting out more and more - just this week she got the new kayak out in Kealakekua Bay, right before the full moon, and those dolphin guys put on a real show ! Paarrrttttyyyy! I would have loved to see that!

But don't think I've been just laying around here on this magic oriental carpet - Wrong! There's TONS to do! Like make sure those gecko guys stay outside there where they belong.

I'm licking my chops over thinking about if one strays into my territory.....

And I still have my studies of Hawai'ian words and phrases - but it seems like my grooming comes first!

O.K. Here's the deal - Mom went out swimming in KBay and swam with over 100 dolphins. Let me tell you - I am REALLY jealous - 100 dolphins!

So here's one of those lovely spinner dolphins playing in the water in Kealakekua Bay (otherwise fondly known as KBay). And Mom saw 100 of these in the water!

So now I am trying to get some snorkel gear together so I can go out there with her and meet the great dolphin pod.
Mom says they are really sweet and have all of this "open heart energy".
I'd really like to find out what all of this dolphin energy is about for myself.
Just got this mask which will have to be tested in the waters.....

Time for a nap! Trying out the new fins too.....
Now I am dreaming about going out there in the great Pacific Ocean to meet up with these dolphins - boy, do I have some great pictures in my head!
And I think I have the fin thing down, but I forgot about a snorkel, so that is next on my list.....

So here's one of the images of the dolphins dancing around in my head.....
Can't wait to get out there and meet these guys.....

O.K. you gecko guys - no messing around with my yellow hibiscus! Butterflies are just fine, but for you geckos, this hibiscus is definitely off limits.

Geckos are a part of Hawai'i style life, and they are fun to chase. But they are good guys, because they eat bugs.
